Blackout in many areas of Jammu-Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, siren sounded, 8 Missiles from Pakistan directed at Satwari, Samba, RS Pura &Arina

Janjivan Bureau /New Delhi. Blackout was imposed in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan on Thursday night. Along with this, sirens also started ringing. During this, the administration has appealed to the people to stay indoors and remain alert.
It is noteworthy that during the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, India destroyed many rockets coming from Pakistan on Thursday morning. Pakistan had tried to target 15 cities of India, but the Indian Army foiled all the attacks.
Army officer Colonel Qureshi and Air Force Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said that Pakistan tried to attack many military bases of India with the help of drones and missiles on the night of 7-8 May. The cities which were tried to be targeted include Avantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai and Bhuj. However, India’s integrated counter-UAS grid and strong air defense systems completely foiled these attacks. The debris recovered at various locations made it clear that these attacks were carried out from Pakistani territory.
Officials said that the Indian armed forces retaliated on Thursday and successfully targeted air defense radars and systems located at several places in Pakistan. An air defense system has been destroyed in Lahore.
He said that the Pakistani army carried out unprovoked and provocative firing in Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar and Rajouri sectors of Jammu and Kashmir, in which mortars and heavy artillery were used. A total of 16 innocent civilians, including three women and five children, have died in this violent action. The Indian Army has given an appropriate and balanced response to this unprovoked firing.
Earlier, India had carried out air strikes on nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. It is being told that about 100 terrorists were killed in these attacks.
